Jacoline Plomp (Avance) is senior impact expert and partner at Avance Impact – a full service impact consultancy since 2009 specialized in measuring, maximizing and managing impact together with NGO’s, impact investors, governments and (social) enterprises. Jacoline has over 15 years of experience in managing and evaluating impact for companies, charities and impact financers. She is educated as a sociologist and in her career, she has worked for multinationals as well as for the government as evaluator, advisor and as manager/director. Jacoline is specialized in setting up systems that allow organizations to assess and manage their own impact. In recent years she supported a large number of prominent (social) enterprises, civil society organizations as well as public organizations (regional governments and municipalities) and impact investors in substantiating their impact, among which, Tony Chocolonely, Rabobank Foundation and Solidaridad. Jacoline was one of the authors of the publication “Impact First” and she is professor in the “Impact Management Course for impact professionals”. Jacoline works since several years in close collaboration with the Province of Noord Brabant. She was involved in the impact evaluation of one of the regional social programs as well as the Brabant Outcomes Fund (BOF). She is co-author of the digital magazine of the BOF in which the lessons learned are analyzed and shared.
