Yuriy Vulkovsky has more than 20 years in the field of project management, capacity building, training and education, advocacy, applied research and need assessment, as well as building cooperation platform with business and public authorities. Currently he is Reach for Change Country Manager for Bulgaria.
In this position, he established (2014) and lead the most successful Accelerator and Incubator for Social Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria, which received more than 13 awards including from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum, Central European Start-up Award, Bulgarian Donors Forum, etc. Under Vulkovsky management, the Accelerator and Incubator for Social Entrepreneurs supported more than 90 social entrepreneurs with grants, training, mentorship, coaching, network and visibility (thanks to the partnership with the biggest private TV in Bulgaria).
Since 2018 he is member of GECES (the Commission expert group on social economy and social enterprises). In 2017 and 2018 he was member of its Policy Committee of EVPA. Since 2014 Vulkovsky is supporting EACEA and EASME in evaluating proposals submitted in response to specific programs like “Europe for Citizens”, “Creative Europe” and “Migrant Entrepreneurship Support Scheme”.
He is Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow (2007) and Marshall Memorial Fellow (2011). As acknowledgment of his work, he was selected as one of the 40 under 40 European Young Leaders in 2014.
